Should I keep my money in a mutual fund as a college student?
I am currently a college student have saved up most of my money from the past four years of working. I was able to invest about 75% of it into mutual funds. I invested my money about 2 months ago and havent made a single profit but actually lost money. I know people say that you need to hold and not sell and the profits will come to you after a few years but I am starting to doubt that when I am loosing a few hundred after 2 months. Am I too young to start investing? Should I keep my money in? Any advice is appreciated.
