New POG and masc policy
So there is some new way that corporate is implementing their masc changes as they pertain to plan-o-grams. Before the masc would change when a POG was closed, but now they change when the pog first comes out. In other words you are going to get a bunch of stock you don't need, can't sell and it will just end up costing Publix more money. My typical frozen truck went up by 200 cases this Saturday and i did not have time to cut off 200 extra cases of stock. Putting in my 2 weeks notice if they won't change this policy. If i'd been working for 20 years with AR, i'd have quit long ago.
Attention corporate. don't change the masks at all! It's unnecessary and just costs us time and money changing them back to something normal. For those that aren't aware, minimum acceptable shelf condition is a number that you want to always be on the shelf. When a POG is closed, some mascs will randomly change to an arbitrary number, corporate seems to like 14, even if you will only sell 2 between trucks, the masc will automatically change to 14. disgusted with Publix.
