Unemployed engineer for the last 3 years. What can I do?

I have a degree in electrical engineering and worked as a programmer. My wife works and I am a stay at home dad to my 2 kids. I have tried tutoring people in math... but with little luck in getting people... 1 or 2 here and there. I have trouble sleeping which only makes things worse. I have applied for engineering, accounting positions, analyst positions, stock broker, receptionist... I have had a couple interviews... but nothing.

I don't know what I can do? oh ya... I have completed a number of Ironman triathlons and 18 full marathons, 4 of them in the last 8 months. Nobody holds any value to that.

Thanks in advance for any help...
