[Help] Not separation anxiety, but clinginess?

Help!

I have a 3 year old dog named Chewie, he's a lab/boxer/terrier mix. We have a great relationship, and I'm the one who feeds him and sleeps with him (as opposed to my other family.)

I understand that dogs love people, but he's downright clingy! Once my butt hits the couch, he lays next to me. If I get up and sit at the table, he lays on top of my feet. If I'm sitting somewhere else, he sits and backs into my legs until his back touches me. He even follows me into the bathroom. We always have a routine when I sleep, I get in bed and lift the blankets up, and he goes under them and curls behind my knees.

I have absolutely no problem with this, but I want to make sure that it's normal, and he won't develop anxiety in the future. He doesn't seem to freak out when I go anywhere, so that's good.
