I'm trying to get my A+ by self study, give me all of your tips!

Hey guys not trying to ask the same question everyone else is asking, but I need some pointers as I have always sucked at self study and keeping good progress. I'm aware of Prof. Messer and he's amazing, and I could probably do it with just him alone. But because I'm strapped for time I'm simply looking for the most effective ways of studying and memorizing, and any other tools I could use. Follow-up questions, how long did it take you to be ready for the test? When did you know you were ready? Difference between 901 and 902? Is it just two halves?
