[FWI] October 2017: A far right militia group carries out a truck bomb attack on the ACLU's headquarters in New York City

Political/Financial

A far right militia group, after months of planning and assembling a bomb, carry out an attack on the ACLU's headquarter offices in an office building in South Manhattan.

The group was inspired by the OKC bombing of 1995, and their motive was an attempt to quote "rid of the ACLU and put n----rs and n----r enablers back in their place"

The bomb was powerful enough to blow off the whole front side of the building(similar to the 1995 attack), and cause damage to multiple other buildings in southern Manhattan. The death toll was close to a thousand.

3 days later, a shootout occurs at the militia's headquarters in Kentucky, and several members, including the ringleader and the attack perpetrators are arrested

What happens next? How does this change how people perceive white nationalists and the "alt right"? What does the government do to prevent another domestic terror attack?

What happens to the ACLU?
