Cochran flipping really wasn't that dumb
Cochran flipping in SoPa is constantly seen as a bad terrible move, but he's acknowledged that if he had just drawn rocks, an Upolu member drew it and they got pagonged, he would've been seen as a weak coat tail in the final 3. And that was the best case scenario. The kid was doomed regardless. And to his credit production may not have fallen in love with him, and he wouldn't have come back on Caramoan where he did win. I'm not saying it was a smart move, but it wasn't really a bad one either.
In comparison John's flip in Samoa, was much dumber, because he was actually a respected enough member of the Galu alliance, and would have a shot in an- all Gaul final 3.
