Weekend league qualification

This might be a stupid question but i qualified for the weekend league to the 1st time last week and got to Gold 3.

I was told by friends that i would be autol qualified for the next weekend league so didn't bother trying to qualify during the week.

I just had my rewards and it doesn't say i qualified.... Have I been lied to? Or will I still be qualified?

Cheers guys.

Sorry if it's a stupid question.
