2003 Pontiac Aztek 2WD bleeding brakes after transmission rebuild

Does anyone know the proper order of operations for bleeding the brakes after a transmission rebuild?

Park isn't engaging, but we have been told that it may not engage when the car is in the air.

But he still need to bleed the brakes which would require us to crank the car for the booster to engage. As of right now the front wheels are off.

Are we supposed to put everything back and have the car on the ground so the transmission can get pressure. Then put the car back on jackstands and take the wheels of for the bleeding?
