17.3/17.4 Not booting on firestick after update.

Does anybody know why the new versions might not be booting up on the firestick after updating.

When I click on the app, it shows the splash screen and boots but then afterwards shows a black screen for a few seconds then takes me right back out to the FS homescreen.

I have tried clearing the cache and data and reinstalling both versions several times. As well as resetting the firestick itself.

I reverted back to 16.1 for the time being however I know that there should be a way to get 17.X to work because it's running fine on my folks folks firestick.

Any ideas?
