Actor Kevin Durand, who plays Keamy on Lost... had an interesting background prior to the show...

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I tried searching this sub and didn't see anything about this...

So I happened to randomly be reading Martin Keamy's Wikipedia page, and I found a pretty interesting fact about the actor that portrayed him, Kevin Durand. The Wikipedia page reads:

A former stand-up comic and rapper from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, with the stage name "Kevy D", Durand had seen only around six episodes of Lost by the time that he won the part.

I had no clue. The former stand-up comic part... OK. I can see that. But former rapper?!?! Kevy D?!?! That is toooo funny!! I can't imagine that guy rapping. At least I can't imagine him being a rapper back then. Nowadays everybody is a fricken rapper, so nothing surprises me.

Anyhow, I just found that to be very funny/interesting, so I thought I would share.

I apologize if this gets brought up often, but I haven't ever seen it.
