Ganking and Revenge in Season 3

Hello everyone I have a question so llet's get straight to the point.

How am I supposed to counter ganking in season 3 i remember in season 1 where (when i had a little bit of luck) I could take out 3 people with revenge but now in season 3 revenge is really only usefull in a 1vs1 situation.

Well that's what I think or am I completly wrong and there is some way that I am unaware of on how to counter ganking ?

I play Lawbringer and I am a decent player (well that is what I think I am) Sometimes i also play Warden or Gladiator if there are some tips on them i gladly take them.
