Negotiating with Muay Thai instructor regarding my situation?

I have been in the sport for a quite long time. I have had a decent amount of fights and used to be an assistant coach for a few years.

I just moved not long ago. Now I'm in a completely new place and miss doing Muay Thai.

So I'd like to do it maybe two or three times a week just for fun. I'm fine with helping with pads, training, or being a body for sparring.

However, I'd really rather to not pay a high fee. So... I'm wondering if I have any ground to negotiate or would it be in bad taste? I mean I have something to bring to the gym and have tons of experience and don't really care to compete again and just want to train for fun.

If it is offensive for someone like me to try talk the price down or out of it, I will not do it. If you think it is okay, what would be the best way to go about at it?
