Why does everyone use the Hog Rider?

Soo i played 10 Matches and 8 of them used a Hog Rider...I dont get it I can counter this card so easily with my cannon Whats the deal with this Card?

My friend(Hog Rider user): -he's beefy -he has high damage

• he's fast
• he doesnt get distracted by troops
