Help! Onsen to visit between Kyoto and Tokyo

Help!

I took my first trip to Japan last year and it was highly successful mainly because of this subreddit. Thank you.

My friends and I will be traveling from Kyoto from Tokyo. We were going to stay overnight at a nice onsen, but decided instead that it might be more efficient to visit one during the day on the way from Kyoto to Tokyo.

Is there a place you'd recommended that we can visit that would serve the purpose of giving us the onsen experience? Ideally we would be able to see Mt. Fuji even if from a far distance, as well as be able to have a full course traditional dinner, as is typically served at onsens. In addition, I'd like your help as to where I can possibly leave my luggage during this experience?

Thank you!

Edit: Thanks for clarifying my terminology. I'm looking to stop at a nice onsen that's on the way from Kyoto to Tokyo that doesn't take up too much time, while being able to leave my luggage somewhere without worrying about it.

If I can get the kaiseki experience in Tokyo, then I'll just do that. Again, any recommendations for that?
