Anyone with similar experiences?
I get that anxiety affects people in different ways, however I don't know if some of my symptoms are that usual for people with anxiety
So I would like to hear if anyone has any similar experiences.
This is mine:
Mornings are generally relaxed and calm, if I'm working I can enjoy the commute to work, I like the sunny mornings while riding on my bike and the first few hours at my work is usually ok.
It usually starts before lunch time, for no particular reason I can start to feel agitated and easily annoyed and generally some stress, my chest starts to tighten and specifically time just seems going really slow as I just want to get to lunch and have a break.
If I'm having a bad day the rest of the afternoon is just awful, I become stuck in a state of pounding painful sensation in my chest, a sort of uncomfortable tension from my legs to my arms, ringing in my ears, drowsiness, small dots or noise on bright surfaces in my vision, intense annoyance with basically everything and time just seems to grind to a halt, the last hours of the shift feels like an eternety.
Just standing upright is painful due to the chest pain, I usually stand askwed or lean against things which can help somewhat. If I in this state try to relax and stop combatting the discomfort I get this, for lack of better words, painful electrical sensation from my feet up to my chest and arms, not nice at all.
It usually subsides somewhat by the end of the shift, however even when I'm home it can come back although to a lesser degree, this happens on weekends as well but to the same degree I would say.
I have social anxiety and nervousness at times and I know how that feels but this is just something completely different, I don't feel really fearful just in pain and very uncomfortable and it just keeps lasting for hours. I don't know what to think of it or even what to call this kind of anxiety.
