Getting daydream to work on non compatible phones.

Is there anyway to get daydream to launch on non compatible phones. I've managed to install the app but when trying g to launch anything g daydream a message pops up saying: this phone is not compatible". Anyway around this.

Don't care that the experience will not be as fluid. Just want to see what it is like after falling in love with google cardboard.

Edit: also I do not have ROOT.
