I've seen a handful of people claim that the rules changed and you can see a movie more than once, but I have yet to see any proof of that.
As far as contract goes. I believe everything is month to month, so you could cancel after 1 month, and there will be some who do that, but based on other subscription services like Netflix, I doubt enough people will do it to make a real impact on profits.
People who buy the movie pass will at least watch 12 movies in a year. They need you to watch less for them to profit. 12 is pretty easy a number to get too. Even if they don't release movies super often, people who know it's free will still use at the very least 12. I don't have a movie pass and I've done that. People who have a movie pass will probably be avid movie goers and will use it. The others just won't buy one If they don't go to the movies that often. This is not a sustainable system.
I saw someone post they now allow you to see the same movie again but not sure if that's true.
Is this on a contract like planet fitness or can you cancel anytime?

I think they are trying to monetize analytics and not trying to make money off the fee. There is no way too.
What do you mean there's no way to? I just explained the way to.
