ASPD: questions for those married/have long term relationship. And for those who are single.
Narcissists who are in successful long term marriages or relationships (+10 years), what age are you and your partner, how long have you been married/together and are you married to a neuro-typical or someone with ASPD?
In your marriages/relationships, how do you maintain a successful marriage and what do you refuse to tolerate about your spouse?
How do your neuro-typical spouses treat or support you? What do refuse to tolerate about marriage/long term relationships? Have you remained faithful to your spouse?
For those of you who are single: how old are you, and how long do your relationships last?

Narcissists?
I am mid 30s, she is late 20s. Met when I was 16 and she was 12, got together when I was 20 and she was 16. There may or may not have been some grooming involved... her parents love me now though. We just got married about a year and a half ago with lots of cheering by the families. Now they are clamoring for kids. We fuck around as individuals and as a couple, and we had another seriously involved for about four years. We're still very close friends with her. None of us are neurotypical, and none of them have ASPD. I doubt this is a coincidence.
I couldn't put a finger on a specific strategy in terms of maintaining our relationship. I chalk it up to extraordinary compatibility, her being an astounding human, amazing luck, and basically growing up together.
Or maybe the grooming?
Maybe the grooming really is all there is to it. Emmanuel and Brigitte seem to be doing alright.
Right, but he was 30 when she married him and hadn't been sleeping with him since he was in high school.
She was almost 30 when I married her... how uncanny. Maybe I should run for president.
