[Discussion] Writing prompts

Hey r/LGBTeens I'm looking to write a story about a Gay boy in highschool and I'm looking from some prompts, it has to be SFW as it is for a school essay. So far I'm thinking of writing from first person with touches of second person in there too, second person is when the author addresses the reader for those who didn't know, but other than that I've not got much other than a way to start the story.
