Torn between R5 1600 and R7 1700

Hi!

I've been thinking of an upgrade in the near future since multitasking is getting kind of slow but I can't decide on the processor.

I'm looking to game, photoshop, edit videos and use a virtual machine. (Some of those at the same time) I don't know if I should pay the 60€ extra for the R7 1700 or stick with a R5 1600 to save 60€. Would be getting at least 16 GB RAM regardless.
