Watching DS9 for the first time....

• Season 1, I was like: "Oh this is fun. It really expands the Trek Universe..."
• Season 2, I was like: "This is actually really good; possibly even better than Next Gen. Wow!"
• Season 3, I was like: "Not only is this better than Next Gen, it might be the best Sci-Fi show I've ever seen."
• Season 4, I'm currently like: "This is the best Sci-Fi show I've ever seen."

I love the OS and Next Gen, but sometimes I felt like they didn't take themselves seriously enough.

I love shows like Battlestar Galactica and The Expanse, but they take themselves too seriously.

DS9 has been the perfect combination of levity and gravity. It's so freaking good.
