Long shot but does anyone have a laptop sitting around they'd be willing to sell cheap?

As the title says.

I was homeless up until recently (5 months ago) and managed to get myself a new job/living accommodations. An old laptop I managed to get from a family member has finally decided it's had its day and just won't boot up.

Is there anyone around that has a laptop they would be willing to sell for around £50? Or does anyone know any other places than CEX that sells cheapish laptops?
