Another "moving to" thread!

Moving to St Aug in 3-4 months for work. It'll be my wife, 2 year old son, and our dog. Looking for areas to avoid and where to try to find a place to live.

Highest priority is good schools, safety, then amenities. Don't mind an HOA, but would like to avoid a CDD if possible.

Will be working near King St sorta by the college. A 20-30 minute commute is fine with me.

Larger lot the better!! 3+ br, 2+ba. Hoping to stay around $250,000 or less.

Been checking World Golf Village for their amenities, but most have CDD. Also have seen old threads on city data saying some of it isn't well managed and the area isn't going well. And it gets a little confusing with so many different names neighborhoods in such a small area.

Anyway, where should I concentrate my search and where should I avoid? Will spend a couple weeks checking out houses next month before I move.

Any recommended realtors or ones to avoid?
