[PIA VPN] Torrent Download-Speed Issues

Hey im fairly new to Torrenting/using a VPN.

Just some Informations before i talk about the problem. I use Private Internet Access VPN I use Port-Forwarding which apparently should increase my Speed. My usual full-speed download speed without VPN is about 20-25mb/s

When i started torrenting i used uTorrent which had major speed issues, up to the point where i couldn't even achieve 2-3mb/s (on Torrents that have more than 5000 seeds)

I managed to achieve much higher speeds with qbitTorrent but the problem is that the speed varies a lot from 200 kb/s up to 10mb/s (on lower seed torrents for example 20-100 seeds, the speed is most of the time around 200kb/s to 600kb/s

it sometimes happens that the torrent stays at around 400kb/s for 20 minutes then jumps on 5mb/s for example why is this?

If for example i download something from Steam i get consistent 10-18mb/s with PIA VPN But weirdly as soon as i try torrenting stuff my speed suffers a lot.

Any tips or help in general would be appreciated for example qbittorrent settings or something that could give me higher speeds.
