Gold Badge Gyms Should Be More Meaningful

It's quite an accomplishment to get a gold badge on a gym, particularly for high turnover gyms. The amount of interaction one has to have with a gym to get a gold badge should carry more weight than a just a few additional items for every Pokéstop spin.

Gold gyms should provide bonuses for raids at that gym, or even better, allow you access to exclusive raids (whenever those roll out). It's baffling to me that a concept (which I genuinely enjoy) that requires so much time and effort isn't properly rewarded in this game.

Any other suggestions for making gold badge gyms more meaningful?
