German state bans indymedia-platform for "sowing hate against different opinions and representatives of the country"

First, a link to state-sponsored "Deutsche Welle", often the only source available for "breaking news" from Germany published in English:

Interior Ministry shuts down, raids left-wing German Indymedia site

Especially telling is how these swine got around the constitutional protections of free spreech and the press:

He said authorities were treating linksunten.indymedia.org as an "association" rather than a news outlet, which would help officials get around constitutional protections on freedom of expression. De Maiziere said at least two people constituted an association - the site has up to seven administrators - and the ban would not affect the international award-winning Indymedia network.

Indymedia-linksunten is/was the largest internet platform of the radical left here in Germany, this attack is retribution for the G20 disaster in Hamburg and a show of "law and order" before the federal elections in September.

I very much hope that the state will not get away with this, meaning that a replacement for indymedia.linksunten gets up pretty soon. It was a very useful platform to stay up to date not only with the politics and actions of the radical left, but even with general news important to leftists.
