Limit Breaking: What Not To Do

Hi all, I've been limit breaking players constantly since beta and I wanted to share with you some of the mistakes I made while doing this. Here we go...

First off, limit breaking is fantastic. You can upgrade some of your favourite players and make duplicate players useful. But, don't get carried away with it like I did.

I started by aggressively buying scouts to max-out my favourite gold players as soon as I could. Great idea, right? Well, almost. The problem I'm running into now is that after level 40, it takes a crazy amount of XP to increase a player's level. So, now I've got 10 PLAYERS maxed out to level 50 or 60 (depending on the agent), but so far my highest obtained level for a player is 48/60. Also, a few of these players are from 16S, so even if they're tied to the current special event, they don't get the additional bonus for being current season.

So, what would I have done differently? Slow and steady wins the race (or some bulls**t like that). None of my players needed to be maxed-out to level 50/60 when I did it. I could have saved my GP and only done limit breaking to level 40/50, because of the slow XP accumulation. The most efficient thing to do is also save the scouts you obtain until the player you're targeting is applicable to the special event. This way you can scout the player you need for limit breaking, and you can leverage their bonus value for the event.
