Don't receive notifications for certain social media apps on new phone?

I recently restored a backup from my 6S to my new 7 via iTunes to keep all my apps and contacts and what not. However on my new phone, I do not receive notifications from apps such as Instagram or reddit. Notifications are enabled for both of the apps. What's going on?
