Potential Flake - Need advice on how to handle her!

Hey seddit! First time posting here, but I'm a bit of a long time lurker. I've seen how helpful you guys can be and was wondering if you'd be able to give me a hand with potential flake I've got coming up. Basically, I've been talking to this girl a met. Met her on POF, we hit it off well, got her number, added her on social media and we've been messaging each other every day. She's heavily hinted that she's really into me, to which I've told her I'm also into her.

We made arrangements to meet last Tuesday after I'd done some odd-jobs around town. She was in the area and so was I, so we both agreed it'd be cool to meet up. Monday approaches and she hits me with "I don't know how long my Doctor's appointment will be..." when I ask if she's still on for Tuesday. I tell her not to worry about it, and don't bring it up again.

After Tuesday passed, she asked if we could meet up over the weekend. Luckily, my folks are going out of town so I'll have the house to myself. I asked if she wanted to meet up in town with a view to coming back to mine for a home-cooked dinner. She agreed.

Fast-forward to yesterday. She started bringing up stuff about the weekend. "If I end up staying over, what will I need?" and "If I do stay, can I use your shower?" were a few of the questions asked, followed by "I'm really excited for it! Can't wait!" Chatting continues as normal and she heads off to bed.

At 2am, I get a message. "My Granddad has just been admitted to Hospital. Just been woken up, heading over there now. I may not be able to message you much tomorrow, but I'll speak to you when I can". I give her the benefit of the doubt and assume that nobody would lie about such a thing, followed by messaging her back to tell her to focus on being with her family and to not worry about it. I've not heard from her today, as of yet.

What confuses me is that certain things don't add up. One example: we're both pretty big gamers, so we added each other on various platforms. I log on this morning and see she was actually online playing something just before 2am (despite having been "woken up" at that time because of her hospitalized relative). She is also still regularly online on POF.

Am I being a paranoid idiot, or am I right in thinking this is building up to be a flake? I thought this girl was really into me, but I've also heard stories about girls using the "my relative is in hospital" as a way to flake. Does this sound like one of those times, seddit?
