r/POTUSWatch's First Mod Elections™
Hey there, we've noticed there have been some debate about the current moderation of r/POTUSWatch and whether it's effective or unbiased, so we have talked a bit and decided to transform this subreddit into a complete representative democracy and to put all the current mod spots up for election.
Here's how:
-
Anyone can nominate themselves to be a mod if they don't have a history of breaking the rules of this sub, can join and be available on our discord server, have enough free time to be able to clear the reports queue at least once daily, and have a generally neutral and non-partisan attitude in regards to moderation.
-
If you meet the above requirements and are interested in moderating this sub, please comment with your username, your political position, your thoughts about r/POTUSWatch, and what you plan to do as a moderator of it.
-
I'll comment with the usernames of the current moderators, their positions in regards to the current POTUS, and their past mod actions.
-
To prevent outside brigading, only people who commented or posted at least once in this subreddit may vote (please vote by commenting with a "+" to top-level comments nominating someone)
-
Each person can vote for any number of people they want.
-
I'll personally vote for the currently active mods only.
-
The 8 persons who get the most "+"s will be the new mods of this sub (and our other sub r/i_irl if they're okay with that)
Please upvote this post for visibility. Thank you.
