[Sophie/Firis] Think i love the franchise but find it mentally taxing to play
Hey all,
First a little background : spent about 50 hours on Sophie which was my first atelier on ps4. Loved it, beat it and tried to make endgame stuff to beat the dlc.
I love the atmosphere and most mechanics of the games but I find it very very hard to keep mental notes of everything you need to remember/work towards at once, to the point that it begins to feel overwhelming at times, and discourage me to play further.
There's so many intertwined mechanics, and I end up frequently having to write stuff down so I don't get lost mid-process while working towards a goal (for instance when I tried to make a 999 Flame of the End attack item with right traits, yes i'm the type to spend too much time online to research optimal builds & endgame & stuff lol).
I'm kind of a perfectionnist in everything I play and I think this is ruining the series for me. Lately I start up Firis and I get discouraged and quit after not even 1 hour.. I think the time limit in Firis is also not helping. I end up reloading earlier saves because I feel like I wasted 30 days not doing anything worthwhile sometimes..
Have any tips so it's doesn't seem so overwhelming, to adopt a more carefree approach?
