Clipping after rendered and put on my phone, only when volume is max

So I noticed when playing back my mixes in my car from my phone, there will be very slight clipping on the kick only when my phone volume is all the way up. Lower it one notch and it sounds perfect. Sometimes it's the same way with professional songs. Can anyone explain this?
