Civil Eng wish you would have done something else?
Civil engineers of reddit, I'm debating changing careers. I've gotten tired of living in a cubicle, writing specifications, and fighting contractors and regulators to get simple tasks completed at enormous cost to public tax payers. I would rather be outside more often getting things accomplished. What do other civil engineers wish they would have done instead? Or, if you did change careers, what did you end up doing?
