[Product Question] People who use sunscreen all day, every day: aren't you incredibly pale?

This is my first post here, I hope I got the tag right. Came here hoping to improve my own skincare routine, as far as it could be called a routine at all. I never even thought of seeing sunscreen being mentioned here, seeing all those people here advocating suncreen use makes me wonder if I should too.

But, as the title says, doesn't it make you look pale all year through? As much as I'd like to keep my skin young, I'm not sure I'd like to totally sacrifice my browning skin during summer. Not like I'm all against it, I'll surely start wearing sunscreen more often than the ~20 times a year I do now. I'm just not so sure about applying it daily or even multiple times a day.
