"Yeah. Life doesn't get any better"

I know we're in r/depression but still. What if depression is a survival mechanism(I know that sounds weird) but a delicate(?) one. I've read some depression is truly crippling and that's where professional help should step in.

For others I feel like we need to result to a default tactic. Eat somewhat healthy, some exercise, and think think think. What's the source of this depression. Even when you think you have the answer, continue thinking deeper on a more fundamental level. Maybe we over think things and just need to relax. Do a puzzle(definitely recommend), read a book, go for a walk, and think think think.

To the people who feel they have crippling depression to where they just lay in bed, do nothing, and don't feel like getting professional help. Perhaps watching videos about life or listening to philosophy podcast could help. Start your day with doing one easy thing. Even if it's making your bed while you're in it, its still an accomplishment and that's something to be proud of

Maybe I'm out of touch but I hope you read this post and it gives you some positive vibes to start thinking of the root of this problem of yours
