Still learning....advance transaction?

So I allocated for the September rent say 500$. I.e. There is 500$ available. I am paying that now since I have that amount and I entered as a transaction, but category says zero$ available. I even deleted it as repeat monthly category. What am I doing incorrectly here? :(
