Worth getting into network engineering?
Applied to a two years program in a college which is about networking and security. They're offering free CISCO exams and the school is in good touch with many companies. My biggest concern is if it's worth it? I heard CISCO is getting replaced with SDN, automation, whitebox networking and much more. I'm not good with programming but I'm currently trying to learn Python. You see, I'm extremely paranoid and I don't want to enter a profession that will be useless in the next few years or in the next decade. I live in Scandinavia, so my options are very limited. Let me know what you guys think, would love to hear opinions from those with lots of experience!
