Rise in Spam Bots in PS4 NA?

Hello everyone. Recently in cities like Rawl'kha and Sentinel I've noticed A LOT of players with names like 'agdhdk' and 'khhffd' spamming attack buttons and staying in one place for hours on end. Are these spam bots? What's the point of this? Is it worthy of being reported? Thanks for helping with my curiosity
