My review: Okay, but missed the point.

Keith was great. The cinamotography was great. The music was great. The camera angels were great. There were some twists and turns which was nice like the Watari thing and the ending. I liked Mia. And Nat is okay at acting, but I wasn't impressed with his character.

But there was no cat and mouse game. Light basically admits he's Kira within 60 seconds of meeting L. Light is not clever or cunning. He seems to do everything he can to be caught. I liked Death Note because of the clever ways they outwit each other. This is just a one sided fight and Light only pushes ahead because of help. If it was just him he'd be caught. The whole amazing smartness of the series is just reduced into one character being smart and he's not even that smart.
