Heat reference vs after market? Help me calm my mind.
So out of impulse I bought the rx vega 64 ( which I don't regret at all). I bought the rx vega because there was no way in hell I'd ever find a monitor that came with gysnc for a price I'd be willing to pay. After monitor shopping the perfect monitor for me had freesync2 and didn't cost a kidney. Plus personally I think nvidia's marketing sucks and ego is way to large.
Anyways here's the question should I have waited for the asus strix rx vega. I guess i could return the one I got if absolutely needed. It's not that I care about the extra 1 or 2 frames from the after market model, the heat is what's bothering me, reviews say the asus strix will be 10 degrees C less then the reference model.
Is the heat from the reference model going to cause any long term dmg. I mostly only play video games and don't do much overclocking. I like to get at least 2 or 3 years out of my cards.
