American Death Note

Is all I can call it, an Americanized version of a great story dumbed down to grab the attention of as many people as possible.

There is definitely a gem or two in this movie but boy would it cut a deathnote fans patience thin.

So much for the story of an upstanding character given the power to kill a person with ease then following them down a dark path of their sense of justice warping the character into someone incredibly evil. To the american bumbling fool that stumbles around like an idiot showing his book off to get attention.
