N64 troubles

Hey guys, i picked up an n64 yesterday and am having trouble getting a signal on my TV.

I've managed to play it via component on 2 of my family members tvs, but when i plug it into my tv via component i get a not supported message.

For info my tv is a Technika 42 inch hdtv and i've had no problem playing all other retro consoles on it. I've tried plugging the n64 component cable into a scart adaptor too but when connected via scart the tv says no signal.

Any options here?
