First custom loop. Temps too high?
Hi all,
I just finished my first custom loop and need your opinion.
but first, here's the system: Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Acylic CPU: Core i7 6850K GPU: GTX 1080 Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming 8G RAM: 4x 8GB DDR4-3000 Corsair Vengeance LED MB: MSI X99A SLI Plus
Cooling: Radiator top: Alphacool NexXxos 360 SE30 in push as exhaust Radiator front: Alphacool NexXxos 240 UT60 in push+pull as intake Fans: Corsair ML120 Pro PWM Pump: Alphacool Eispumpe VPP775 Res: Alphacool Eisbecher 150 CPU Block: Alphacool Eisblock XPX GPU Block: Alphacool GPX 1080 M06 16/10 Soft Tubing One Corsair ML140 Pro PWM in the back of the case as exhaust.
CPU is overclocked to 4.4 GHz @ 1.33V GPU got an additional +75 MHz on the core and +400 MHz on the memory on top of the Gigabyte factory overclock. It settles at around 2050 to 2100 MHz. Because I want my system to be really quiet, I've set the fans to 30% (~700rpm) and the pump to 40% (same as 2/5 on the manual control). Static, not turning up under load.
Here are the temps I get at 27-28°C room temperature: CPU idle: 30-34°C depending on the core CPU after 1hr prime95 1344 FFT load (no AVX and no GPU load): 65-75°C depending on the core GPU idle: 34°C GPU after 0.5hr Heaven benchmark: 58°C When playing PUBG for ~1hr (average of 95% GPU usage) GPU settles at 63°C and CPU cores at around 45-56°C Water temp stabilizes at around 42-44°C under such conditions.
What do you think about those temps? I know that 700rpm is really not much, especially for the 60mm thick front rad. But I've expected lower temps, to be honest...
Thanks in advance =)
