[DEVELOPMENT]Les Marecage Peatlands I

In the wake of Hurricane Rachel's landfall on Belle-Île-en-Mer and the eventual destruction of the Imperial peat harvesting facilities in Les Marecage, scouts reported finding a much richer deposits of coal beneath the peatland. While the current reconstruction operations only focus on the peat harvesting facilities, words were around about expanding the operation. Leading this movement is a humble coal mining company that operated outside Landerneau, the Guillaume Mining Corporation.

Rumors took hold of Les Marecage of the Guillaume moving in to establish their own mining and quarrying facilities in the region, having just received their approval by the Department of Economy. The population of the region, only having recently returning to their homes, were somewhat rustled, but general opinion showed approval of new job opportunities. The GMC CEO, Guillaume Duchamps, being a man of no noble blood, thanked the locals of their approval and stated his wishes of aiding the development of these swamplands.
