About Centurion position in the meta

Nota big question, just a thought. I had a discussion with 2 friends about how truly, considering decent player but not tournament level, the centurion works.

They still feel him very strong, when I honestly find him average at best.

The point is, I just restarted the game after a break from the start of July.

How is he considered here?
