[Help]Error Code i2501 when trying to set up the game and it asks to create a service account.

Okay, so I bought this game through Steam and launched it. Created a brand new Square Enix account entered my CD code and all that; the game then asks me to create a service account. Theres no way to bypass this screen (despite the page warning not to accept it if you want to transfer characters) and I click the checkbox that says "create a new service account." BAM! I'm instantly hit with this error despite following the instructions of the game and there being no way to not do this and play the game. I've heard that its related to ISP but I'm not sure how that helps me. I'm playing the game on bootcamp since I bought it through steam not realizing that for some reason that wouldn't include the mac version. If that is the problem is there anyway to get a mac client with the key that I have or do I have to buy the game again. Please help, I'm dying over here trying to navigate this bullshit.
