Scanners?

I was building an Ysoki Mechanic (original, I know) and found that both the Spy Drone and the Comm Unit descriptions mention "scanners" as something you can add the functionality of.

Comm Unit:

You can upgrade a personal comm unit to function as some other devices (such as full computers and scanners) by spending credits equal to 110% of the additional device’s price.

Spy Drone:

A drone can be upgraded with any one of the following technological items by paying 125% of the item’s price: flashlight, grappler, lantern, laser microphone, motion detector, scanner, or X-ray visor. The price of buying and installing one upgrade includes the price of replacing an old upgrade on a drone, if applicable.

But there's no item listing for a "scanner" anywhere. No price, no description, nothing. Motion detectors and x-ray visors are listed, but those are listed in these descriptions as separate from the "scanner."

Anyone have any leads on this? Is it just another rule they forgot to include in the Core Rulebook like they did with repairing Mechanic Drones?
