Issue when dragging and dropping spells/troops (google pixel) [bug]

Hi all, as above, I get this problem occasionally where I'm dragging a spell/troop into position, and before I release my finger it just drops randomly. The amount of times I've dropped a lightning spell on sweet f/a... It's a wonder my phone isn't in pieces. Was in a match to hit my highest trophies the other day, shooting for around 5150, and this issue cost me the game.

Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Cheers :)
