Anyone else snapped an underwire?

So today at work I managed to snap the underwire of one of my favourite bras. The fabric around the wire is still entirely intact it's just that the wire has broken into two parts. Has anyone else ever done this and is there any hope of salvaging the bra? I've considered replacing the wire but don't know of anywhere locally (Western Australia) that would sell wires in my size (36J).
